Observatory
Why we call us The observatory: We are located on a hill with 360 degree view without light pollution, making it possible to enjoy the northern lights in all directions. In addition, we have advanced video cameras which film the sky all day. These can be found under the menu item live broadcast. You will also be able to use our advanced telescope to observe different celestial bodies
Activities
When you visit us at the Observatory you will have access to many different activities (activity menu). We have a private cross country ski trail and ski equipment available. Skiing and loan of the necessary equipment is included (not all shoe sizes available). The ski slopes can also be used without skis if you simply just want to go for a bush walk in peace and quiet. We also have snowshoes available for those a bit more adventurous.
Price NOK 1999 per person per day includes
Transportation from airport (BDU) to hotel
Accommodation in single or double rooms
Breakfast, lunch, 3-course dinner, juice and coffee
Pickup after dinner and brought to the Observatory
Access to advanced telescope at the observatory
Skiing and snowshoeing in lovely scenery and trails
Guided tour around Senja by order of 3 days or more (1 day and 1 evening tour)
This App has Push Notification enabled which allows you to view App messages sent directly from the business straight to your lock screen; Push Notification feature must be enabled for this to work. App contains Integrated Facebook/Twitter feeds.
App contains a Geo-Fencing feature which requires location from the App for it to work.
